We hope you will find us to be a warm and welcoming Church family. We meet for worship at 11 o’clock every Sunday morning and also live-stream our services to YouTube. Although it is not the same as being there in person, it provides an opportunity to join us for worship if you are unable to be there.
Our Church is open for coffee on Thursday and Saturday mornings from 10am until 12 noon. On Thursdays, this is in the form of the 3 C’s café – Cuppa… Company… Chat. This is run by volunteers from several churches in the town.
On the first Thursday of each month, there is open access to P3 – People, Potential, Possibilities. This is a service which can help anyone over the age of 65 to remain living independently in their home. They can help with applying for Benefits, advice on Safety in your home, Care packages, Blue Badges, Social inclusion, Housing options and Assisted technology.
On Saturdays, the coffee morning is run by people from our own Church.
Also open on Thursdays and Saturdays is The Tree of Hope. This is a shop situated within our church building, selling fairly traded goods and cards.
Throughout the year we organise various social activities as well as fund-raising events – things like afternoons for playing games and enjoying tea and cake, tabletop sales, Spring or Autumn Fayres and Christmas Tree Festivals.
We celebrate special occasions by decorating the Church – for Easter, Harvest Festival and Christmas and by holding special services.
We have a craft stall in the Church all the time and this helps to raise funds for our Church.
Our Church is an ideal venue for concerts as well as other events, as the chairs can all be moved in order to create a large, open space.
Various areas of our building are available to hire, and many local groups and organisations hold regular meetings or rehearsals in our Church. It is in an ideal, central location with parking nearby.
Please come and visit us – you will be assured of a warm welcome
